Restrictions: Do not use this herb if you are allergic to salicylates or aspirin. Do not give to children.
Content: 35-40 Vol. % of pure grain ethanol (alcohol) extract of Filipendula ulmaria (Meadowsweet).
Suggested Uses: Meadowsweet is antacid, astringent, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic. The plant contains salicylates. These substances reduce fever and inflammation.*
Indications: Meadowsweet works well for acid stomach, heartburn, ulcers, indigestion, rheumatism and arthritis, and diarrhea. The herb is used to relieve cold and flu symptoms such as fever and pain. It is also used to relieve inflammation and to reduce body weight.*

Dosage and Directions:
Prevention: Put 1 dropper (0.7 mL) into 2 Oz. of water at room temperature. Drink once per day, preferably before bedtime.
Mild Problems: Put 1 dropper (0.7 mL) into 2 Oz. of water at room temperature. Drink twice per day, preferably in the morning and before bedtime.
Severe Problems: Put 2 droppers (1.4 mL) into 2 Oz. of water at room temperature. Drink twice per day, preferably in the morning and before bedtime.

If you are taking any medication, use this remedy at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after your medication. Do not use on an empty stomach or immediately after a meal. Do not use for more than 4 consecutive weeks. Make break for 1-2 weeks before repeated use.

Some known side effects: Large doses may cause nausea.
Contraindications: Salicylates have been related to Reye syndrome, an illness of the brain and liver.
Prescription: No prescription necessary.
Storage: Store in a dry, dark, and cool place. Refrigerate but do not freeze.
Expiration: 24 months (2 years) of date stamped on bottom of the box or bottle.
